The great example is the BoJack Horseman show that is filled with irony, sarcasm, tragedy, and insecurity. Today it is on top of hip-hop scene and industry. It became widely popular and was spread mostly online, starting from the 2010s. The meme was notably reposted to Instagram on January 22nd, 2021, by lilmotherfigure, gaining over 55,000 views and 11,300 likes in a year. Mumble rap is newly appeared sub-genre of hip-hop that is sometimes referred to as SoundCloud rap.

The original version was posted to Instagram in November 2020 and inspired copycats and ironic iterations over the following years, replacing the video clip and image of the rapper with more ironically humorous content often unrelated to rapping.
